Collections of Museum Models
Groupings of models to create a larger message.

The history of British Airways, with constant-scale models artfully arranged at the RAF Museum. The overall effect is striking.

A dreadful collection of armor at the Imperial War Museum. The side-mounted fluorescent lighting makes it even uglier and hard to look at.

Large-scale models combined with full-scale aircraft at the Musee de'la Air.

Armor models combined with artifacts at the old Presidio Army Museum, now in storage.

Nicely displayed uniform models at the Hohnensalzburg museum, Austria. None overwhelms the other, each can be individually inspected, and yet the overall decor works as a cohesive display. The formality of the display also seems peculiarly Germanic, doesn't it?
